About

From the beginning of my time studying physiotherapy at university I felt a strong sense that there was more to health and healthcare than the traditional western medical model. This sense was clarified by the more patients I saw.

Through the past 25 years, I’ve been on a path to further understand the human body, mind, wellbeing and health.  I have always had a keen insight into the evolving landscape of healthcare and deeply value the importance of acknowledging the advances of treatment in the conventional medical medicine as well as acknowledging the effects and limitations of it.

My journey led me to discover Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, The Trauma Research Foundation, The Institute of Functional Medicine, Yoga & Compassionate Inquiry.

Treatment Pillars

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle yet potent way of working with the body using light touch.

It supports your body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself as well as helping to reduce stress and build underlying energy.”

The Craniosacral Institution

Physiotherapy

"Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability"

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

Yoga

Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation.

Contrary to popular believe you don't need to be flexible at all to do yoga.

" If you can breathe you can do yoga"

T Krishnamacharya

Trauma/Stress

Our understanding of how chronic stress and trauma link to illness has significantly advanced, yet conventional medicine has yet to fully integrate this knowledge

A growing body of scientific studies show that stress and trauma profoundly impact our physical health, with adverse experiences, literally held within the body.
